NY RUGBY LEGENDS DINNER

Tonight, December 3, Play Rugby hosts 30 guests at New York's first Rugby Legends Dinner. The dinner includes famous international players such as the likes of Michael Lynagh (Australia), Keith Woods (Ireland), Ieuan Evans (Wales) and promises to be a huge success being sold out just a few weeks after tickets went on sale.

Play Rugby, Inc is pleased to be involved in this event as a secondary beneficiary behind two other primary charities and hopes to take on a leading role in years to come as the local NY-based youth development organization. The event promises to highlight the strength of the local NY rugby and corporate community in addition to demonstrating to educational partners in attendance the international opportunities available to their students through the sport.

PROGRAM UPDATES

PELHAM RUGBY TOURNAMENT HUGE SUCCESS

November 16th witnessed Pelham's inaurgural rugby cup with teams competing from New Jersey, NYC and Pelham.

The event was the culminating competition for the Pelham Parks and Rec's first flag rugby program run by Play Rugby USA. On the day itself 10 teams competed in the Elementary and Middle School bracket.

"It was a sheer joy to see those boys and girls running, throwing, receiving, looking around, calling to each other, and having so much fun" said Hiromi Huisman regarding his son's first experience of rugby. View photos from the event on
